Over the past year, the pace of Quantum and AI technology has moved rapidly. And with new developments, new challenges are also surfaced. Quantum computing represents a profound shift in the technology landscape, offering the potential to solve problems that are currently intractable for classical computers.  Even with the advancement of Generative AI and capabilities of Large Language Models (LLMs), today's technological capabilities are limited in the face of Quantum possibilities. When the challenges of quantum computing are overcome—error correction, noise reduction, scalability, etc.—the quantum computers of the future are likely to impact nearly every area of computer science, from AI to cybersecurity and beyond. Now is an opportune moment for forward-thinking companies to consider their quantum and AI strategy and learn about this emerging and exciting technology. 

On October 9th, 2024, from 1-4pm, CSAIL Alliances, in collaboration with MIT’s Center for Quantum Engineering, will host a half-day event to explore Quantum and AI advances with a focus on the technology’s impact on Cybersecurity. Opening talks will start with CSAIL Director Professor Daniela Rus and the Director of the MIT Center for Quantum Engineering, Professor William Oliver.  This symposium will feature two panels of experts exploring topics in quantum, AI, and cybersecurity. Q&A sessions with world-renowned researchers and leading industry practitioners with networking opportunities and informal discussions make this an important event to attend on campus. Join us for a pivotal conversation about the current state and future promise of quantum and AI.
